One profile, four calls

Rank, referring domains, anchor profile, and toxic links pulled in a single run — a few cents, not a subscription.

Health at a glance

Rank, total backlinks, referring domains, dofollow ratio, spam score, broken links, and first-seen date — seven numbers, one screen.

Referring domains, ranked

Every linking domain bucketed by domain rank, from 0-10 up to 501-1000 — see whether your links come from real authority or the long tail.

Anchor risk scored automatically

Branded, exact-match, partial, generic, URL, and image anchors broken down by percentage, with a low/moderate/high call on over-optimization.

Toxic links, named and scored

Each toxic link gets a 0-100 score and a plain-language reason — low domain authority, off-topic relevance — ready for a disavow list.

Point it at any domain

Audit your own site or a competitor's from the same input — no separate tool, no extra login.

Referring Domains

Not every link is equal —
see who's actually vouching for you.

Every linking domain, its own domain rank, dofollow ratio, and the date it was first seen. Low-authority and toxic domains are flagged right in the table, not buried in a separate export.

Anchors

Your anchor mix, scored
before Google flags it for you.

Branded, exact-match, partial-match, generic, URL, and image anchors broken down by percentage, with a low/moderate/high risk call on over-optimization — and every spammy anchor text surfaced, not averaged away.

Toxic

Every toxic link, named
and ready for the disavow file.

Not a single opaque score — each flagged link comes with the domain, the source URL, the anchor text, and the specific reason it's toxic. A clean profile shows a green checkmark instead of a guess.

FAQ

Straight answers

What exactly does Backlinks show me?

A full link profile across five views: Overview (rank, backlink counts, spam score, most-linked pages), Referring Domains (every linking domain with its own rank and dofollow ratio), Anchors (branded vs. exact-match vs. generic anchor mix, with a risk score), Toxic (individual links flagged with a reason), and Prospect Finder (outreach targets discovered from a seed keyword or competitor domain).

Where does the data come from?

Live calls to a commercial backlink data provider — one profile analysis makes four calls (summary, referring domains, backlinks, and top pages) and merges them into the four views. No stale exports, no scraped estimates.

How is the toxic score calculated?

Each flagged link gets a 0-100 score plus the specific reasons behind it — very low domain authority, low topical relevance to your site, and similar signals — so you get a disavow-ready list instead of a single opaque number.

Can I check a competitor's backlink profile?

Yes — the input accepts any domain, not just your active site. Point it at a competitor and get the same four views: rank, referring domains, anchor mix, and toxic links.

How is anchor risk determined?

Every anchor text is bucketed into branded, exact-match, partial-match, generic, URL, or image, then scored low/moderate/high risk based on how far the mix drifts from a natural distribution — heavy exact-match is the classic over-optimization signal.

What does a profile analysis cost?

A few cents per domain — one analysis makes four data-provider calls, billed at cost. Run it on your own site on a schedule, or on a competitor whenever you need the comparison.

How does Prospect Finder pick outreach targets?

Give it a seed keyword or a competitor's domain and it combines SERP discovery with a competitor backlink gap, then enriches the top candidates with contact info and a giveable-signal check — write-for-us pages, resources pages, or a history of accepting guest posts.

Can I see what technology a prospect or competitor runs before I pitch them?

Yes — point the same domain box at a prospect and get their tech stack, contact info, and a whois overview alongside the backlink profile, all from one input.
